Free STEM Apps from NYSCI

While browsing the education section of the app store today, I just so happened to stumble across an app called Choreo Graph. After researching the app online, I found that the app was a really creative tool for incorporating math concepts. Essentially, you can take a photo, split it into different parts, and then animate/transform the parts across a timeline using degrees of rotation. There is a series of apps created by The New York Hall of Science and all of them are free. Another really great feature is the NYSCI website features lesson plans and really creative examples of how the app can be used to deepen STEM education. Watch the video below to learn more then head to the app catalog to download these apps.
